(The Sun) – Raheem Sterling is currently tearing up the Premier League – and there could be a new generation in the pipeline to make a similar impact.
For Manchester City star Sterling’s one-year-old son looks to have inherited the same amazing ability on the ball as his dad.
The England World Cup hero posted a video onto his Instagram of Thiago having a kickabout at home over the Festive period.
And footballing ability must be in the Sterling genes judging by the way the toddler is already taking to the game.
Thiago can be seen displaying the kind of balance and natural ability that has seen his 24-year-old father become one of the best players in the top flight.
And he displays excellent technique to strike several powerful shots towards his proud dad.
The pair then share brilliant moments of bonding as they celebrate together after Thiago nets an imaginary goal.
Sterling’s touching video comes at the end of a year in which he has established himself as a mainstay of the side for both club and country.
He made a big impact for England as Gareth Southgate’s side reached the semi-finals of Russia 2018.
And he continued his impressive form into this season, becoming one of City’s best and most consistent performers with 10 goals in all competitions already this season.
