Juventus set a new Serie A record after beating Bologna in Turin.

Gonzalo Higuain netted twice as league leaders Juventus win 3-0 over Bologna in Turin and they set a new Serie A record of 26 straigh home wins.

The former Napoli striker Higuain gave Juventus the lead after he scored a wonderful goal assisted by Miralem Pjanic.

Paulo Dybala scored the second goal before the half-time with a penalty after Marios Oikonoumou fouled over Stefano Sturaro.

Higuain scored the third and final goal after the break as he headed a right cross from Stephan Lichtsteiner as Juventus moved four points ahead of second-placed Roma.

Bianconeri, who are targeting for a record sixth serie A title, also have a game in hand on their nearest rivals AS Roma.
