Arsenal would love to be the first team to beat Manchester City this season in the Premier League, as they were the last team to defeat Pep Guardiola’s team in April (FA Cup semi-final). City, however, are flying as they scored 49 goasl in all competitions. Arsenal are nine points behind City and they have to win today if they wish to be in the title race.


Team news

Pep Guardiola may pick the same team that played the win against Napoli last week as Manchester City have no new injury concerns.

Forward Gabriel Jesus is set to start as he  just played five minutes as a substitute in Stadio San Paolo. Kyle Walker and David Silva are also expected to start this game.

Sead Kolasinac is fighting to overcome a hip injury in order to start for Arsenal after limping off at Swansea a weekend ago.

Shkodran Mustafi, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Calum Chambers are out with injuries.
